Staff Backend SW Engineer

Position overview

Join a dynamic research & development center in Bulgaria for a fast-growing FinTech company using AI, technology, and product design to improve insurance comparison and purchase.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product to architect and deliver features end-to-end
• Optimize for speed, reliability, and maintainability
• Write comprehensive tests and participate in frequent production releases with strong quality bar

What you need

• 4+ years backend experience with Python + Django or Node.js
• Performance analysis and optimization
• Unit and integration tests
• SQL and NoSQL (MySQL, Redis, DynamoDB, Redshift)
• Fluent English
• Desirable: Apache Airflow, data pipelines, IaC, AWS, React frontend exposure
